AMERICA recently hosted students from Gwinnett Technical College at its state-of-the-art AQUAPUNKT Training Facility.
The participants learned about innovative products and company history in a hands-on environment complete with
real-world training stations and product demonstration suites that display the latest trends in kitchen and
bathroom design.
Students of Gwinnett Technical College, one of Georgia's largest technical colleges, receive relevant knowledge that meets the needs of local communities' workforces. The college offers over 45 associate's degree, diploma and certificate programs and hundreds of seminars, workshops and courses providing specialized training.
"It was very helpful to actually see the plumbing configurations required for different scenarios in the shower and to understand the way that valves and controls work," said Susan Arnold, Program Director of Interiors. "The knowledge will definitely help all the students become better designers and to become more adept at specifying the correct product components."
AQUAPUNKT's Training Facility offers informative programs designed to equip participants with the necessary tools to specify, sell and service a wide range of plumbing products. The 9,000 square foot instructional facility has operating displays that feature nearly all of the KWC and Hansa products, as well as areas where visitors can enjoy practical technical training with faucets and valves.
Originating from the HANSA group's commitment to educating industry professionals about the water experience, over 1,000 plumbing specialists take part in AQUAPUNKT's training programs annually. AQUAPUNKT offers four cohesive programs that range from one to two days of on-site training and topics include Product Knowledge, Specifying Custom Shower Systems, Designing a Custom Kitchen, and Technical.
