The Importance of Interior Designers

Over the past several years, we have witnessed a noted increase in the popularity and visibility of both interior
designers and architects and realized the important role they play in our business. Whether their talents are employed
for new construction, renovation or basic space planning, the expertise of an interior designer ensures that the final
product meets end users' expectations.
Equipped with a vast array of skills, interior designers are called upon to address a myriad of roles which can include:
- Providing a clear analysis of a client's design needs by understanding their lifestyle and what they hope to achieve with the project.
- Presenting design concepts that are relevant, functional and within the clients' budget.
- Writing specifications and preparing working drawings, as well as sourcing all materials, finishes, furnishings and providing space planning and furniture placement.
- Working with trades to coordinate the installation of electrical wiring, plumbing, drywall, and more.
- Serving as the liaison between the client and other service providers to ensure that quality standards are met.
At KWC AMERICA, we understand the importance of interior designers and often partner with them in order to meet the
design expectations of consumers, contractors, builders, architects and designers. KWC's world-renowned faucets and
fixtures are revered for their functionality and relevant style thanks to partnerships with visionary designers,
including Bruno Sacco and Michael Lammel.

As
a designated HGTV Designer Superstar, Karen Sealy, owner of Sealy Design, Inc., appreciates the collaborative
design efforts of KWC and Hansa. "When a manufacturer invests in designer partnerships, the final product will
benefit from improved style, while the brand is elevated to a level above that of competitors," says Sealy.
"In partnership with their design team, KWC AMERICA has incorporated unique materials and design elements not
found in pedestrian faucet brands. When connecting with designers of various backgrounds and industries, new
visions are created and can result in distinctive products such as the KWC EVE or HANSAMURANO."

Ramsin Khachi, designer of the first Dove Spa in North America, is also keen on the distinct styles offered
by Hansa. "When designing the Dove Spa, I looked to the HANSACOLOURSHOWER to provide an added 'wow factor' for
such a special space," says Khachi. "After looking at hundreds of shower products, I chose the HANSACOLOURSHOWER
because the exceptionally functional shower included chromotherapy, which adds to customers' spa experiences."
If you are interested in working with a designer on your next project, consider the level of expertise and broad
skill set they can contribute. Hiring a professional designer will prove a worthy investment when they help bring your
vision to life and create a space of your dreams.
